A further event has now been added to the Sport Ireland Gov-Enhance Programme. The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) has provided Sport Ireland with places for their upcoming Governance Forum “Integrated Risk Management”. This Forum will take place on Thursday, October 21st 2021, from 11:00am until 12:30pm. Only one person per organisation can attend. Places are remaining for next weeks Board Member Roles & Responsibilities online training. This training will take place on Thursday, October 7th 2021, from 9:45 am to 3 pm. This training will be particularly relevant for individuals who have recently joined Boards of sporting bodies or those interested in a refresher. Ensuring that Boards members are aware of their roles and responsibilities is a critical component of good governance practice. Places are limited to 15, and only one person per organisation can attend. Please register your interest by using the below link. A small number of places are still available for the three-hour Governance Code for Sport Overview Training Course next Thursday, October 7th. This event will provide an opportunity to gain additional insight on the recommended practices within the Code. Please use the registration links below;
