After two very successful campaigns this year, Sport Ireland are pleased to announce the dates for the following coming up in 2022. Women in Sport Week 2022 will take place from March 7th – March 13th to coincide with International Women’s Day. The week will continue to celebrate all areas of women in sport, from female leaders through to coaches, officiators, high performance athletes and social participants.
Each day during WIS Week will have a theme and Sport Ireland will be in touch shortly to outline this plus further plans. After receiving post initiative feedback from the sector, HER Outdoors Week will be taking place from August 8th – August 14th 2022.
After a very successful inaugural campaign this year, we want to ensure that you have a much longer lead in period to this campaign so you can plan effectively. Outdoor NGBs and LSPs can also factor in HER Outdoors 2022 events/initiatives into funding applications for 2022. The Outdoors Unit will also be in touch soon to discuss their objectives and plans for HER Outdoors Week 2022.
